At 4:00 p.m., pursuant to the Order adopted March 1, 2001, the Senate was adjourned during pleasure and put into a Committee of the Whole in order to receive the Chief Commissioner of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, Ms. Michelle Falardeau-Ramsay, for the purpose of discussing the work of that Office, the Honourable Senator Losier-Cool in the Chair.
